Terms of Service
The short version: be a good mate, invite people who want to be invited, and remember the plan is yours to make.

1. Who we are
The Fixture is a product of Strength & Rituals, operated by Kellits PO Ltd (‘Kellits PO’, ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘our’), a company registered in England and Wales. Company number: 16493607. Registered office: 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX. You can reach us at myboroughuk@gmail.com or through our contact page.
These terms apply to the website, the shared service behind it and the iOS app (together, ‘the service’). By creating an account or joining a group you agree to them.
2. What the service is
The Fixture helps a group agree a date to meet and find somewhere convenient to get to by public transport. Journey estimates and venue details come from third-party mapping data and are estimates, not guarantees: a venue may be closed, full or different from its listing, and a journey may take longer than shown. Check before you travel and book directly with the venue if you need to.
The service is a tool for making plans with people you know. It is not a substitute for professional medical, mental-health or other advice, and it is not an emergency or crisis service.
3. Who can use it
You must be 18 or over and able to enter into a binding agreement. Venue suggestions currently cover the United Kingdom and use public transport only.
4. Your account
- Give us an email address you control and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account unless you have told us it has been compromised.
- One person, one account. Do not impersonate anyone or use a display name that misleads your group.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings, in the app or on the web. If you cannot sign in, contact us.
5. Groups, organisers and invitations
- Whoever creates a group owns it and can make other members organisers. Organisers propose dates, confirm the plan, choose the venue, manage members and create invitation links.
- Invitation links let anyone who has them join the group, unless the organiser has addressed the link to a particular email address. Share links only with people you actually want in the group, and only through channels they would expect.
- Joining a group does not commit you to attending anything. You can reply, change your reply or leave by asking an organiser.
- Do not use invitations to spam people, to add someone who has asked not to be contacted, or to use another person’s contact details without their agreement.
6. Your content
You own what you add to the service: group and fixture names and descriptions, notes, date suggestions, venue details and your profile. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and share that content with the members of your groups so that the service works, and to keep it for as long as this agreement and our Privacy Policy allow. We do not use your content for advertising.
You are responsible for what you add. Only add content you have the right to share.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to:
- break the law or encourage anyone else to;
- harass, threaten, bully or abuse anyone, or add content that is hateful, obscene or defamatory;
- impersonate a person, group or organisation, or misrepresent who is inviting someone;
- send unsolicited invitations in bulk, or use anyone’s email address or phone number without their agreement;
- add private information about other people, or content that infringes someone else’s rights;
- interfere with the service, probe its security, scrape it, or exceed the limits we set on venue and journey searches; or
- resell the service or use it for commercial promotion without our written agreement.
8. Suspension and ending the agreement
We may suspend or close an account, remove content or revoke invitations if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken, if the law requires it, or to protect other people using the service. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put things right. You can end this agreement at any time by asking us to delete your account.
9. Our intellectual property
The service, its design, code, wording and the Strength & Rituals and The Fixture names and marks belong to Kellits PO Ltd or its licensors. You may use the service for your own personal, non-commercial planning. Nothing in these terms gives you any other right to our brands or content.
10. Third-party services
Venue details, maps, directions and journey estimates are provided by Google Maps Platform and are subject to Google’s terms when you follow a link to Google Maps. Venues are independent businesses with which we have no relationship. App Store purchases and sign-in with Apple or Google are provided by those companies under their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, but we choose them carefully and limit what we send them, as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Paid organiser features
The core of the service — creating groups, inviting people, agreeing dates and adding a venue you know — is free. We may offer optional paid organiser features, such as venue suggestions based on the group’s journeys, as an auto-renewing subscription bought through the App Store. Where a subscription is offered:
- the price, term and any allowance (for example a number of fresh searches per month) are shown before you buy;
- payment is taken by Apple, renews automatically until cancelled, and can be managed or cancelled in your Apple subscription settings at any time; cancelling stops future renewals and you keep the features until the end of the paid period;
- refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its policies, in addition to any rights you have by law; and
- we may change prices or what a plan includes for future periods, with notice before your next renewal.
Nothing else in the service is charged for, and members never pay to reply to a fixture or see the confirmed plan.
12. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or withdraw features, and we may set and adjust limits on searches to keep the service affordable. If we make a change that materially reduces what you have paid for, we will tell you and you may end your subscription.
13. Our responsibility to you
- We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. If we do not, you have the remedies the law gives you.
- We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.
- We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party venue or journey information, for what happens at a meet-up, for the conduct of other members, or for losses that were not foreseeable when you agreed to these terms.
- The service is for personal use. We are not liable for business losses.
14. Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other law that cannot be changed by agreement, including in relation to digital content and services and any right to cancel a purchase.
15. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why, and our Cookie Policy explains what is stored in your browser.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version here and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings there, and you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer law where you live.
